Save the date for WashCOG’s 2023 Sunshine Breakfast

The Washington Coalition for Open Government will again host its annual Sunshine Breakfast at T-Mobile Park in Seattle, scheduled for 7:30 a.m. Friday, March 17, 2023.

We will again recognize outstanding contributions to open government with our annual awards. Information about nominations will also be released soon. Read about the awards and previous years’ recipients:

  • Toby Nixon Award (formerly the Madison Award) for outstanding, longtime service in promoting open government

  • James Andersen Award for extraordinary effort to advance the work of WashCOG

  • Kenneth F. Bunting Award recognizing journalists and media outlets for putting Washington’s access laws to work in ways that inform and educate the public.

The Sunshine Breakfast will be followed by a regular board meeting of the Coalition, and all are welcome to remain and attend. (Or you can enjoy a tour of T-Mobile Park!)
