Events

The Washington Coalition for Open Government offers a variety of events and programs, both in person and virtual. The periodic Open Government Conference offers an update on current issues, drawing public officials and citizen activists from across the state. The 2018 Transparency Through Technology conference explored how agencies are effectively using tech tools to better manage and provide access to records. WashCOG has also provided one-day training sessions on the PRA and OPMA around the state. Coalition board members are also available for virtual programs.

WashCOG sponsored the first Open Government Town Hall program at Western Washington University in October 2022.
